Our second concert on Saturday, February 21^st is a first for us – the current Gold Medal recipient of the Van Cliburn Piano Competition featuring, from Ukraine, Vadym Kholodenko. Vadym Kholodenko captured the attention of jury, audience, and critics alike for powerful, exhilarating performances that “showed the guts of a true superartist” (San Francisco Classical Voice). He continues to build a reputation for interpretations that are “impeccable, tasteful and vibrant, and also something more: imaginative” (Cleveland Plain Dealer). This remarkable performance is as exciting for adults as to the students who benefit from the accompanying educational program that will be taken to local schools!
